Born in a Lagos kitchen
FreshOra began in a family kitchen in Lagos, where our founder Adaeze Eze noticed something troubling: her grandmother's homemade Zobo — that deep ruby hibiscus drink that had anchored every family celebration she could remember — was being replaced by sugary sodas in the family fridge.
It wasn't just nostalgia. Adaeze, a food science graduate, knew exactly what Zobo contained and what commercial sodas contained. The contrast was stark. So she started cold-brewing and bottling — and the response was immediate.
Friends asked for bottles. Neighbours placed orders. Then strangers found her on Instagram. What started as a kitchen experiment became a movement: Nigerian drinks, made properly, for people who cared about what they put in their bodies.
Today, FreshOra serves hundreds of families across Nigeria — bringing Zobo and Tigernut milk to doorsteps nationwide, with the same quality and care that started in that small Lagos kitchen.

First 100 Orders
Word of mouth brings the first 100 customers. FreshOra is formally registered as a business.
Tigernut Joins the Family
After months of recipe testing, Tigernut Milk launches to immediate demand. The product line doubles.

Nationwide delivery launches. FreshOra becomes available across 10 Nigerian states with same-day Lagos delivery.
